Sunday School
We currently have Sunday School for three different age groups. We encourage
families to share what they have learned with each other and search the
scriptures for even deeper understanding.
Adult Sunday School
Our adult Sunday School class is taught by Sean Winship. Brother Sean teaches
with great insight and shows the truths of God's Word not only as it is in
scripture but also how it applies to our daily lives. You will leave this class
being challenged to strive for a closer walk with God.
July 10 - Knowing Christ as Savior and Lord is the way to
wholeness.
July 17 - It is important to take time to reflect on the
preeminence of Christ and to proclaim His glory.
July 24 - Jesus saves, therefore we must recognize the deceit
of worldly wisdom and religious legalism, and choose life in Christ.
July 31 - God calls us all to understand His holiness and to
embrace new life in Jesus Christ.
Teen Sunday School
Our teen Sunday School class is taught by Shannan Traylor. In today's
society, it is important that teens learn the truth's of God's Word with
boldness. Sister Shannan teaches in a way that the teenagers in her class
can relate to and leaves them feeling more equipped to fight the battles they
face in their daily walks.
July 3: This weeks
lesson is on Jehovah Witnesses and what they believe. It keeps us from being
self-righteous as we examine the errors of others.
July 10: We are
learning in a modern world of generic labels and low-price knockoffs, its
sometimes hard to remember that certain things shouldn't be and can't be
duplicated.
July 17: It's too bad
that having good intentions doesn't ensure success. We are learning about the
story of Jehu who had great potential but fell short of his goal.
July 24: Noah built an
ark when no one had ever seen rain. We are reflecting on our lives and at the
difficult times God has brought us through.
July 31: This weeks
lesson is on how we, as teens, can change a nation. We need to learn that we can
make a difference.
Children's Sunday School
Our children's Sunday School class is taught by Diane Hamblen. Our children
should never be left out of learning the truth's of God's Word. Sister Diane
presents the gospel to the children in a way that makes it easy for them to
remember and easy for them to understand.
