Sunday School

We currently have Sunday School for three different age groups. We encourage families to share what they have learned with each other and search the scriptures for even deeper understanding.

Adult Sunday School

Our adult Sunday School class is taught by Sean Winship. Brother Sean teaches with great insight and shows the truths of God's Word not only as it is in scripture but also how it applies to our daily lives. You will leave this class being challenged to strive for a closer walk with God.

Teen Sunday School

Our teen Sunday School class is taught by Shannan Traylor. In today's society, it is important that teens learn the truth's of God's Word with boldness.  Sister Shannan teaches in a way that the teenagers in her class can relate to and leaves them feeling more equipped to fight the battles they face in their daily walks.

September 5:
For this week's lesson we are learning that as a teenager you go through many feelings of insecurity, depression, discouragement, and difficult emotions.  We are going to focus on the quality and quantity of those who do encourage as in family, friends, as well as pastors, etc....  and learn to be an encourager too.

September 12:
We are learning this week to yield to God.  A lot of times the Lord puts us in situations that have a degree of discomfort for believers and non-believers.  We should view life's challenges in God's way and trust him to walk in his chosen path.

Children's Sunday School

Our children's Sunday School class is taught by Diane Hamblen. Our children should never be left out of learning the truth's of God's Word. Sister Diane presents the gospel to the children in a way that makes it easy for them to remember and easy for them to understand.

8/29/10 - Our lesson this week wrapped up a series of lessons on how we can be more like Jesus. We should work hard to be a light, to get help in emergencies, to be kind to others, to care for the poor. Doing these things will help us to be more like Jesus and will help other people see Jesus in us.
