You know, no matter what stage of our life we are in, we will find ourselves in situations that cause us discomfort, loneliness, dissatisfaction or pain. This is not necessarily a result of something we have done wrong but is a result of having to live our life in these fleshly bodies. While we all have the circumstances, it is the way that we handle them that will make the difference in our lives and in the lives of others. I often hear Christians complain about their circumstances. Many will carry on about the terribly heavy burdens they are enduring in their daily lives. Unfortunately, the Christians that profess victory through their circumstances are the minority - but that is exactly what we should be doing. The Word makes it clear that we will be victorious, that if God is for us, who can be against us? That greater is He that is in me than He that is the world. He will never leave us or forsake us. He will supply all our need according to His riches in glory. . . .need I go on? If we are firmly grounded in the Word, we know that we do not need to go through our circumstances as if we are helpless, but instead we can get up off of our circumstances, speak the word of Jesus to them and walk in victory! Think about the difference that could make, not only in your own life but also in the lives of all those that see you having victory - no matter what is going on. I encourage you to be determined in your heart to rejoice, rejoice, rejoice. No matter what is happening all around you, put on the whole armor of God, stand on the promises of God and declare the VICTORY!!

“BUSTED” This word originally might been used to describe something as simple as, “I dropped the glass and it busted”, but over the years it has developed into more of a catch phrase. I remember an old country singer who wrote a song about being out of money. It was titled “ I’m Busted”. However, the “Busted” we are probably more familiar with refers to someone that got caught. We often say they got “Busted”. If someone gets arrested in any town throughout the state or even the nation their mugshot, or worse your mugshot, will pop up where anyone can find it. Do you mean a person can’t have a couple too many drinks, act like an idiot and get away with it without the whole office knowing??? (What is this world coming to), note the sarcasm.

Why is it that we go through life thinking that we can act however we want and that as long as we are discreet enough no one will ever know? What a foolish thought. Scripture is vividly clear on the point that God is an all seeing, all knowing God. Chapter 28 in the book of Job states; 23”God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof. 24For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven”. Not only does he see all earth but every man; “For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings” (Job 34:21). What can we really hide from God? Not even our heart is hidden “for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”(2 Samuel 16:7)

The fact is, when it comes to our sins and transgressions, we think we hidden them from our friends, our family, and even our pastor but they are as vivid to God as a painting on the wall. God sees all. When it comes to our crimes against God we are definitely” Busted”. Praise the Lord for his forgiving grace through Jesus, the Christ.
